On Tuesday 30th March, 2021 SRM has been speaker at the MENA-OECD Government-Business Summit.
The Summit has gathered decision makers from the public and private sectors and civil society to discuss issues pivotal to an inclusive economic recovery, notably: investment, value chains, youth economic empowerment and moving away from informality. This high-level public-private dialogue wanted to contribute to designing a roadmap for recovery and focused on strategies to ensure an inclusive and resilient post-COVID-19 recovery.
Massimo Deandreis, General Manager of SRM, has been among the speakers of the Session “Enhancing connectivity and value chain participation”.
He has given a presentation on the significant role of maritime transport in improving connectivity and value chain participation in the MENA region. In fact, MENA ports are growing and they could play a central role in supply chains and intermodality.
